The Evil Within 2 getting free trial

In a surprise announcement; Bethesda have today revealed that The Evil Within 2 will be getting a free trial.

Today, Bethesda have revealed that right now as of typing this article, players can get their hands on a free trial of their recent horror sequel; The Evil Within 2. The free trial which will be available to download on PS4, Xbox One & PC will allow players to experience the opening chapters of the game. At the end of the trial; players who purchase the upgrade to the full game will be able to carry their save files over so they can pick up where they left off.

The opening sequences of the game will allow players to experience some of the nightmare riddled linear experiences the game has to offer in addition to the more open world segments produced by the streets of Union. The trial will also allow players to explore the many different customization options for Sebastian so they can start building the character that fits their play style.

The Evil Within 2 is the sequel to the 2014 hit survival horror game from the mind of Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil). This time around you regain control of Sebastian Castellanos as he dives head first into hell once more and faces terrifying and twisted monsters aswell as the demons of his past in a race against time to save the life of his daughter.

The Evil Within 2 is available now for PS4, Xbox One & PC.
