Goodbye UGNN – Sam Elliott

Introduction:

Hi there, I’m Sam and I’ve been writing for UGNN for 1.5 years. My first article was actually published on the owner’s account and it was a nostalgia fest over Mass Effect 2. That article seemed to do quite well so Matt, very kindly, asked me to write for the site fully. It really doesn’t seem that long ago, but in the time that I’ve been writing here I have brought a multitude of series to the site including:

  • Oculus 101
  • My Encounter With
  • Access Granted

I have also wrote articles on Mass Effect Andromeda and the Switch.

All of this aside, I’m afraid that I’m going to be leaving this site behind, along with taking all my series with me. However, they won’t be gone forever! I am moving to a new site that I’m creating called the, “Honest Game Complex”.

http://www.honestgamecomplex.com

Site Summary:

“This is the Honest Game Complex. Here I have one job. Find the perfect game. I know it will probably never happen, but it is the journey and goal that I have set myself. This perfect game must have a certain God Complex about it; Have an idea that is easy to understand, and execute it flawlessly, whilst letting everyone know that it is perfect.”

Conclusion:

I would like to thank Matt for giving me so much trust with his site that he built from the ground up. I would like to thank all of my readers that read my articles and I hope you can all join me at my new site. Thank you everybody, for such a good year online!

See you around,

Sam

“On a personal note; On behalf of myself and everyone else here at UGNN. It’s been a true honor to have Sam write for us since Day 1 and we truly wish him all the best of luck with his new venture. We will continue to support his decisions and we hope that you…our readers also follow his ventures and support him like you have supported us over these years.
So best of luck Sam and thank you for all the hard work. We’re gonna miss you.”

~ Matthew McNamee; Chief Editor at UGNN.
