E3-2015

After a long and eagerly anticipated wait; Nintendo have revealed a few hours ago that Mother (in Japan) will be released in America & Europe under the title; Earthbound: Beginnings.

During the pre-show for the Nintendo World Championships which are still currently taking place as I type; Nintendo officially revealed that for the anniversary of Mother in Japan, Nintendo would be releasing Ness’ first adventure in Europe and North America for the first time ever under the title Earthbound: Beginnings which is actually seeing release sooner than many thought with the game releasing today at 6pm Pacific Time.

The game originally released on the Famicom (NES) will be released via the Wii U Virtual Console and will be fully localized in English.

The game was introduced by Shigesato Itoi; the original creator and you can check out the trailer below.

Earthbound: Beginnings will be available later today at 6pm Pacific Time on the Nintendo eShop via Wii U Virtual Console.
