First Thoughts
When you first play castle storm you will realise its a Tower Defense game with a twist well that’s how i look at it i will explain in this review my thoughts on the game and what i thought of it
What Is Castlestorm
Well i didn’t see castlestorm to have much or such of a story which isn’t an issue with a tower defense game but here is what you get from playing Castlestorm
Enjoy a unique take on medieval warfare in Zen Studios’ light-hearted action-strategy game. As rival fortresses attack your own, you’ll use a ballista to fling boulders at enemy towers and spear approaching armies, while sending forth your own troops and unleashing powerful spells. Battling opposing units up-close as an individual hero nicely balances the ranged combat, and CastleStorm’s goofy characters and richly detailed graphics keep it an enchanting experience throughout.

First Thoughts

The Gameplay
The gameplay of castlestorm features a lot of different ways to be played there is the shooting of your ballista at enemies from a far and also you will need to use various different weapons to destroy the enemies castles plus you can also play as a knight (Cant remember what he is called) but you can do close up melee attacks with this character and it adds a new kind of twist to the old Tower Defense games

Graphics

The Graphics
As stated above the graphics are richly detailed and keep it and enchanting experience throughout i personally thought the graphics for this game are amazing (I Was playing this on xbox one) and the game does run in
1080p resolution at 60 frames per second. which is AMAZING

Gameplay

The Sound
the soundtrack of the game and the games sound effects are great and seem very detailed esspecially with the castles getting destroyed and hitting the enemies it is a great game!

Sound

Lasting Appeal
There is a lot to do in the game and i suppose if you’re a big fan of this genre then there will be more for you to do here is some of the few features
· Multiplayer battles and Co-op play! CastleStorm features multiple modes of multiplayer action for both local and online play
· Multiple paths to victory – you can choose how to defeat your enemy. Capture the flag, destroy their castle, or complete another predetermined level objective in order to claim victory. Each level features multiple objectives, each with their own rewards.
·An arsenal that would make any medieval warrior proud! Harness the power of medieval ballista weaponry, and launch an assortment of explosive weapons including Morningstars, Apple Grenades, Homing Eagles, and even flying sheep to defeat an onslaught of enemies trying to capture your flag and destroy your castle. Deploy a fearsome ground attack of swordsmen, knights, and donkey riders in order to protect your castle games, and if all else fails, call upon powerful spells to help keep the enemy at bay.

And Much More so there is definitely loads to do once you have finished with the main campaign

Lasting Appeal
