New Screenshots for PS4 Exclusive; Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture

Developer The Chinese Room have shared some gorgeous scenery screenshots on Twitter from their upcoming PS4 Exclusive title; Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture.

The game comes from The Chinese Room who created the first person art title; Dear Esther and is a first person adventure title currently in development over at Sony Santa Monica Studios and is powered by Crytek’s CryEngine.

Recently these past few weeks; The Chinese Room has been sharing screenshots from the upcoming game on their Twitter account showing off the incredible visual details aswell as what can be achieved on the PS4. The Screenshots are below.

Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture takes place in the village of Shropshire. Set during the Apocalypse; The game revolves around the stories of six different characters; each with their own version of the events aswell as revealing their pasts. Each character will be connected to certain landmarks within the world which will evolve as the game progresses.

The screenshots above show just what capability the Crytek Engine can do on the PlayStation 4 which could be one of the best uses of the Crytek Engine so far on PS4.

Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture will be released sometime next year for the PlayStation 4 and it is already looking to be one of the most interesting indie titles we’ve seen in a while.
