First Impressions to the Xbox One Version:

So from playing Outlast on PC Then playing on xbox one it is different but not much different the only difference is the controls. Other than that the game is AMAZING and I mean spectacular. The graphics 10/10 The Voice Acting 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 this game is flawless and I’m going to tell you why!

The Story:

You play as Miles Upshur; A Journalist who receives an anonymous email from someone working for Murkoff at Mount Massive Asylum. The email says that they have been doing experiments and crazy stuff and that they need to be exposed so Miles Upshur takes this opportunity to go looking around the Asylum in the middle of the night with a camcorder some documents and 2 batteries to start off with. When you adventure on into the asylum you find out that maybe this wasn’t a good idea after all.

Thats all I’m going to say as i dont want to spoil the game to much as its an amazing game all around.

The Gameplay:

The Gameplay to Outlast Xbox One Version is great. The controls may take a while to familiar with especially if you have played the PC version but once you get the hang of the controls you are fine to go. The movement is great it feels realistic with the running and the leaning to check your corners everything is perfect.. While playing through Outlast I experienced ONE Very Minor glitch and this was when i was looking through a door (Opening The Door Slightly) An Enemy Bashed Through the door and got stuck and it messed up the sound of the game BUT As Soon as I opened the door the game went back to normal so it was not a big issue there for it does not effect my final rating of the game.

4

The Sound:

The Sound and The soundtrack in this game is CREEPY and I mean really creepy But its also what makes this game top notch from the sound effects of your charecter to the sound effect of the enemies it is all there and it is such a great experience.

5

The Graphics:

The graphics in this game are amazing 10/10 in my opinion. The lighting is AMAZING, The surroundings are amazing. This game looks just as good if not THE SAME as the PC Version and runs great on the Xbox One.

6

Lasting Appeal:

The thing that kind of stands out for this game in my eyes is that even though many people may think it has no replayability; I personally think it does.  You have the various different difficulties including Insane where if you die you have to start from the beginning of the game so you will have to take it slowly. I think that this game is amazing for the horror genre fans or even people that want to play a horror game for the 1st time.

7

Final Thoughts:

If you can play a game from start to finish ONCE and want to go through it again then you know its a good game BUT! If you can play a game and finish it start to finish TWICE And You Want To Go THROUGH IT AGAIN! YOU KNOW THAT GAME IS AMAZING Outlast is one of those games even though it will make you jump, scream and get scared and not want to carry on; its also one of them games that for some reason you want to keep returning to I for ONE am going to be going through this game for THE Third time and this is by far one of the best games I’ve ever played.

My Score = 10/10
