The Story:

In Sheep’s Clothing takes place immediately after the events of The Crooked Mile where Bigby is recovering from his brutal confrontation with Bloody Mary during The Crooked Mile’s Brutal climax and is seen fighting to recover with help from Snow and the Fabletown Doctor. Shortly after, Bigby rushes back into action to find the answers he had been looking for; The lost piece of the Magic Mirror & The location of The Crooked Man aswell as trying to prevent Snow from sending Colin & Mr. Toad aswell as all other non-glamored Fables to the farm.

The Gameplay:

In Sheep’s Clothing plays exactly like the other entries in The Wolf Among Us combining the traditional Telltale point & click gameplay with detective style gameplay which adds to the excellent style of storytelling Telltale are going for in this game. This episode also shows how difficult your choices can be when it comes to the lives of others with Bigby having to decide either for or against sending close friends to the farm aswell as what to do to The Crooked Man when he finds him.

The Sound:

Once again the theme for The Wolf Among Us is great and really sets the tone for the game as does the fantastic voice acting gig from Adam Harrington, Erin Ashe, Dave Fennoy, Chuck Kourouklis and many more fantastic voice actors.

The Graphics:

In Sheep’s Clothing once again uses the traditional comic book art style of the previous entries and also stays traditional to the art styles of the source material comic; Fables. In addition to this, Episode 4 introduced more new characters such as Tiny Tim, The Jersey Devil & The Mysterious Crooked Man.

Lasting Appeal:

As with the previous entries in the series; This game has plenty of replayability thanks to the Book of Fables which only adds certain characters depending on your conflicting choices however the game also has plenty of replayability thanks to the story which is so good, you’ll want to keep playing it over and over again.

Final Thoughts:

The Wolf Among Us: In Sheep’s Clothing is an incredible entry in the first season and really added some tough decision making which in ways truly affected how everyone sees Bigby and that is one of the many things I love Telltale for so its great to see it make a real appearance in The Wolf Among Us. Perfect Episode and from the way it ended; The finale is going to be a treat.

My Score= 10/10

The Good:

  • Storyline is fantastic
  • Really Tough Decision Making

  • Voice Acting is superb
  • New Characters introduced
