Riding Dinosaurs and hunting T-Rexes in The Stomping Land

Another kind of survival game has just popped up on Steam Early Access, this time around exploring the theme of prehistoric life instead of the played-out zombie apocalypse scenario that everyone went crazy about.

A game focused on Multiplayer action and Survival of the fittest, The Stomping Land is set in a alternate history in which Humans and Dinosaurs coexisted, this is something that hasn’t been touched upon since the likes of The Flintstones.

Players are tasked with forming Tribes and proceeding to hunt down the cast of Jurassic Park in pursuit of becoming the dominant species on the island.

As many people may know Dinosaurs are quite difficult to kill therefore players will have to adapt to the ways of the world which means hunting in groups and scavenging for food in order to survive.

The larger and more dangerous creatures apparently roam the island freely and even fight other Dinosaurs, it’s up to you to learn the ways of the old world which means taming your own Dinosaur and riding it.

In addition to the wildlife trying to sample your tastes there will also be more civilized enemies trying to tan your hide, something that is quite um… interesting is the fact that you can imprison other players and then keep them for no reason whatsoever than dancing for your amusement.

As mentioned; The Stomping Land has appeared on Steam Early Access so it should hopefully be available now on Steam.

So what do you think? Are you glad to see a new game set in the prehistoric age? Do you think this could be the game to bring back Dinosaur games?
