Next Mass Effect in the Middle of Development

BioWare Montreal general manager Yanick Roy has revealed that right now the next Mass Effect game in the series is in the mid-way point of Development.

The last game in the series; Mass Effect 3 came out in 2012 which saw the end of the Shepard Trilogy and since then; BioWare have been hard at work developing the next entry in the series under very close supervision of the edmonton team. At the moment; We don’t know many details about the upcoming title other than the fact that the concept art for the game looks fantastic and that Commander Shepard will not be the games protagonist. Recently during a Q&A session on Twitter; Yanick Roy, BioWare Montreal’s General Manager revealed that the New Mass Effect is Mid-Way in the development stage. He confirmed that the game is too far gone to be in the early stages of development while its still to early in development for it to be in the later stages of development leaving them somewhere in the middle. You can check out the tweet below.

So judging by what was said in the tweet, It seems that Mass Effect is going along in development at a nice pace and since its in mid-development; My guess is BioWare & EA are possibly looking towards a late 2015 release and my guess is we will probably hear more about it aswell as a possible announcement at this years E3. In the meantime, You will be able to play BioWare’s first Next Gen title in the form of Dragon Age: Inquisition this October.

So what do you think? Do you think EA will reveal Mass Effect at E3? Have you played any of the Mass Effect games? Do you think Commander Shepard should make a cameo? Be sure to let me know what you think in the comments section below and be sure to stay tuned to UGNN for all your gaming news and reviews and remember to follow us on WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn & YouTube.
