Since the reveal last November, PlayStation Gamers have been trying to figure out who the mysterious voice on the new Uncharted trailer will be in the game with many coming to a conclusion that said voice could be a possible villain in the new game however it would now seem that this possible villain will not have the same voice from the trailer. Todd Stashwick, The Voice actor who previously voiced the mysterious man in the Uncharted trailer has recently said that his part in the upcoming Uncharted has been recast by the team at Naughty Dog and that he will in no way be involved with the project.
According to IGN who quoted the Writer/Actor; He said he had only just been informed recently about the decision and that no other reasons were given on this change of decision. At the moment; It is unclear whether the recasting of Stashwick has anything to do with his choice to be a writer on the upcoming Star Wars project from Visceral Games along with former Uncharted Veteran; Amy Hennig who also left Naughty Dog earlier this year.
As of right now Naughty Dog and Sony are yet to comment on the recasting of Stashwick. In addition to this, both of the companies are yet to offer any information on what the story will entail aswell as what types of characters players will encounter in the game and whether or not Nathan Drake will return as the protagonist.
Uncharted (Title could change) is set to be exclusive to Sony’s PlayStation 4 Home Console and is expected to get first gameplay footage aswell as more details revealed at Sony’s E3 2014 Press Conference.
