Last Game you Played Beyond Two Souls

So I just picked this up the other week for a bargain and only started playing it a few days ago and boy all I have to say is that the visuals and story of this game is breathtaking. The voice casting was fantastic and every choice you make in the game could mean life or death which I have come to like in recent years with games like The Walking Dead, The Last of Us, Heavy Rain & Fallout 3. This game is definitely a must buy title and is one of the games to own a PS3 for.

Last Movie you Watched – The Purge

I also picked up this flick for a bargain because I really wanted to watch it but I was skeptical about watching it due to all the negative reviews it got. I’m glad I ignored them because I found The Purge to be rather enjoyable and at times unnerving. The film stars Ethan Hawke & Lena Heady as a couple who with their 2 children try to survive the annual purge which is a night where any crime can be committed without police or emergency interference. The family then comes under attack when a group of nutjobs start to terrorize them. This film is fantastic and at least worth a rent.

Last TV Show you Watched I’m A Celebrity Get Me out of Here

I am a huge fan of this show and so as expected I tuned in to watch the final to see who would be crowned king of the jungle. The votes were between Kian Egan from Westlife or David Emmanuel who is known for being a Dress Designer for the Royals. Of course it wouldn’t be I’m a Celeb without disgusting bushtucker trials which saw the 2 contestants having to eat disgusting things like a Cow’s Tit & Live Cockroaches and the witty humor of Ant & Dec. If you have never seen the show, you should.

Last Book or Article you Read – None

Nothing has been read over this past weekend.

Last Piece of Music you Listened to – Counting Stars by OneRepublic

This song is extremely catchy. I heard this song a few weeks ago and now I can’t stop singing it. You guys should seriously listen to this song.

Last Game you Played – Battlefield 4

Battlefield 4 is an amazing game and is so fun the graphics are great and the gameplay its self is very good highly recommended

Last Movie you Watched – Carrie (1976)

I Recently Watched The Original Carrie Movie as I was thinking about checking out the new film ( Have not Done this) and I will say I thought the film was very good story wise and makes me want to check out the new remake of it but don’t know when i will

Last TV Show you Watched – Heroes

I Remember watching the 1st episode of heroes a long time ago but did not end up watching the rest so i thought i might as well check it out so that is what i’m watching at the moment

Last Book or Article you Read – N/A

Last Piece of Music you Listened to – Hey Mister by Miss May I

Last Game you Played Hearts of Iron III

Its a geo-political simulator crossed with a strategy game. You basically can play any nation in WW2 era from 1936-1948. You control not only the armies but the politics within the nation. You build armies and change polices for war. Its a good fun single player but the AI can sometimes go crazy, I’ve seen Italy conquer Germany o_0 in WW2, So its much better to be played multiplayer and make sure that the war goes as it should (except Germany wins xD).

Last Movie you Watched – Michael Collins

Its a 1996 movie staring Liam Neeson (one of my all time favorite actors) based around the life of the IRA rebel leader Michael Collins and his rise and dramatic fall from power. A very gripping story-line and very good acting. It stars quite a good cast (including Professor Snape as Éamon de Valera). It also accurately portrays the different factions within the IRA and Collin’s attempts to curb the more radical side of it. A good watch if you are a history buff or just love Mr Neeson as I do.

Last TV Show you Watched – N/A

I don’t watch TV much

Last Book or Article you Read – The Napoleonic Wars: An Illustrated History

Name says it all for this one folks As a history fan I enjoy anything history based. So this is right up my alley. It basically outline the course of the war and the smaller details that are usually overlooked. It ignores the big battles where most books tend to get obsessed and ignore the other details and gives you the cold hard facts. A very fun read if Napoleonic History is a passion of yours.

Last Piece of Music you Listened to  – Unconditionally by Katy Perry

This week its Katy Perry’s new single; Unconditionally. It a lovely song, a nice mix of pop music mixed with a good message (which she has really been pushing for with her new songs). It all about loving people no matter what and always moving on. It also does really well with the catchy tune and foot bouncing bass which makes it a VERY catchy song. If you love Katy Perry and want a nice Dancy tune with a good message. Look it up.

So thats our Weekend Playlists but whats yours? Be sure to let us know in the comments section below and be sure to stay tuned to UGNN for next weeks edition of The Weekend Playlist as well as all your gaming news & reviews.
