Telltale reveals Tales from the Borderlands at Spike VGX

As if Telltale haven’t proved how good they are with titles like (Game of the Year Winner) The Walking Dead, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future & their most recent title, The Wolf Among Us under their name; they are now tackling another big franchise in their well known story driven ways. Officially revealed at Spike VGX, Telltale confirmed that they are working in co-operation with Gearbox Software to make Tales from the Borderlands which takes you back to the world of Pandora.

The project is set to include previous characters from the Borderlands series aswell as brand new characters created for the game, Some of whom will be ” wanna-be Vault Hunters” as well as visiting places that are familiar with the series says Gearbox head Randy Pthcford. Telltale & Gearbox have also said that Tales is “Very much in the Borderlands world” but will contain telltale’s typical gameplay and is promised to be “Big & Bombastic” & yes you will be able to shoot someone “but in a different way.”

Telltale is developing the series with Gearbox Software overlooking the project and consulting Telltale.

Tales from the Borderlands will be available in 2014 with details on who you’ll be playing as along with other details regarding consoles, release dates & gameplay features are to be announced sometime in the future. Check out the trailer below.
